Favorite Healthcare Staffing has celebrated nurses and other healthcare professionals for over 40 years! We offer a variety of placement opportunities, including per diem, local and travel contracts, and permanent and temp-to-perm placement.
To continue the 40th-anniversary celebrations, we will be highlighting the next healthcare professional who has been an integral part of Favorite’s journey.
Meet this month’s second #FavoriteFamilyFeature, Susana! Susana is a CNA and has been with Favorite for four months now. Keep reading to learn more about her story.
I grew up in a refugee camp in Thailand and seeing the lack of help and healthcare workers there really inspired me to pursue my profession in nursing. I am hoping one day I can go back and help those who are in need.
My favorite memories are the ones where I get to interact with every resident that I’ve met. Listening to their stories is the best part of the job. I love to learn about their lives.
Appreciate everything you have because there are a lot of people that have it worse than you.
My patients have inspired me to keep going toward my goals and keep doing what I’m doing as a nursing assistant.
The most rewarding things about my job are building a connection between my patients, developing trust between them, and making their day better.
My Mom. She keeps me motivated to never give up. She is the woman I look up to and I do not want to disappoint her. That’s what keeps me motivated when times are tough.
I think people skills play a big role in the healthcare profession. You must be able to communicate well and build a close connection to create trust. It’s also great to have teamwork skills as well.
What makes me unique is that I’m proud to say that I’m from a refugee camp. I’m so grateful for what I have now. I enjoy hiking and painting outside of work and I love to travel.
“The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat.” – Napoleon Hill
Compassion, Honesty, and Perseverance.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned while working during the pandemic was that we need to be better prepared in the future. We value more things than we didn’t before, and many of our priorities have shifted while adapting to COVID.
