Meet this month’s first #FavoriteFamilyFeature, Anna! Anna is a Senior Recruiter in our Allied Health division and has been with us for three years. She first started as an Administrative Assistant for the Allied department but has quickly fallen in love with recruiting and connecting with healthcare professionals across the country.
We recently sat down with Anna to get to know her and why she loves Favorite. Keep reading to hear more from Anna during our Q&A session!
What is your current role at Favorite?
I am a Senior Recruiter in our Allied Health division. I’ve been here since November 2018!
Have you had any other roles at Favorite? Please describe the path you took to get where you are now.
I started as an Administrative Assistant for our Allied department and to be honest I didn’t know much about staffing before taking the position. I was thrown into the recruiting side and ended up loving it! I now work in the Clinical side of our Allied team and enjoy getting to build relationships with my candidates.
What, or who contributed to your decision to work at Favorite?
I wanted to explore HR and have learned over the years that there are a lot of moving parts in the world of staffing! Also, getting to contribute to the healthcare community and help make a difference is something I take pride in.
What is it like working at Favorite?
Favorite has always supported every milestone. I couldn’t imagine not having my team by my side to share those experiences with. They truly are a second family!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I love being able to create relationships and find candidates a job that’s the perfect fit for them!
How do you think your role at Favorite makes a difference within the company and the healthcare industry as a whole?
Being in the Allied Department, we staff every position in a hospital excluding nursing. Knowing that we can support hospitals nationwide during a time of uncertainty is a great feeling!
What lessons have you learned while working in the healthcare industry during COVID19, personally or professionally?
I was thrown into the Clinical side of our Allied team at the beginning of COVID and I learned the ropes very quickly! I could not imagine learning any other way and I am grateful that I have experienced the crisis side of staffing.
What keeps you motivated when times are tough?
Knowing that hospitals desperately need help and that these opportunities are changing healthcare workers’ lives as well.
Tell us what makes you unique! What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests?
Outside of work, I love being able to spend time with my kids! I also have an interest in interior design.
How would you describe your team?
My team is like a family to me! They are always so welcoming, and I enjoy being around them!
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Favorite?
All the late nights working crisis assignments made our team extremely close and I am incredibly grateful for that!
